About the Position

University of New Brunswick  Ph.D. students and offering a full scholarship. I invite students interested in artificial intelligence, deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), IoT and network security, multimedia security, and cybersecurity to join our research team. We will provide full scholarship support. Selected students can complete their dissertations under the joint supervision of Professor Ali A. Ghorbani and myself.Eligibility Requirements:1-International students must meet the language requirements for admission.2-Ph.D applicants must hold a master's degree in computer science or a relevant field. Undergraduate students can also apply.3-Master applicants must hold a bachelor's degree in computer science or a relevant field.4-Must have good programming skills, proficient in Python, PyTorch, Keras, TensorFlow, etc.5-Must have a basic knowledge of AI, deep learning, NLP, IoT and network security, multimedia security, and cybersecurity.

About the Professor

Bio

Dr. Sajjad Dadkhah is a research associate, cybersecurity team leader, and faculty member at the Canadian Institute of Cybersecurity (CIC), Faculty of Computer Science, University of New Brunswick (UNB). He has been involved in several security projects as research assistance and security consultant in different organizations such as Kyushu University (Japan), Universiti Malaya (UM), and IRIS Smart Technology Complex. He also won two Bronze and Gold medals from local and international invention competitions. He has published several novel articles in journals, book chapters, and conferences. He has more than seven years of experience in digital multimedia security, computer security, and machine learning-based detection systems. In Sept 2016, he was awarded a fellowship by the Kyushu Institute of Technology (Japan) to continue his research. In July 2019, he was accepted as a cybersecurity team leader and researcher at the Canadian Institute of Cybersecurity (CIC). After one year, he was promoted to Associate researcher, a faculty member role equal to an assistant professor with more industrial duties. He is also working in the Applied Soft Computing (ASOC) Elsevier journal as a Board member, Associate editor, and Managing editor since 2016.
