Biography

Frederick Davis received his PhD from Queen's University and has been an Associate Professor at the John Molson School of Business since 2011. His research primarily focuses on mergers and acquisitions, insider trading, and various aspects of corporate finance. He has received funding from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) and the Fonds de Recherche du Québec - Société et Culture (FRQSC). Davis has published numerous articles in high-quality journals such as the Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Business Finance & Accounting, and International Review of Financial Analysis. He is involved in teaching courses like FINA 415 - Mergers & Acquisitions, contributing significantly to the education of future finance professionals.
