Dr. Ali Abdulhussein

Biography

Ali AbdulHussein is a Director of the Master of Engineering Management program at the University of Windsor and has held this position since 2016. He has been a lecturer at the Odette School of Business and the Faculty of Engineering since February 2014. His academic background includes a PhD in Management Science from the University of Waterloo and an MBA from Simon Fraser University. He has also earned a Master of Applied Science in Computer/Electrical Engineering from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electronics Engineering from Simon Fraser University. With a strong background in engineering and management, Ali has contributed to various research initiatives, focusing on areas such as data analytics and consumer behavior during the COVID-19 pandemic. He has numerous publications, including journal articles and book chapters, which highlight his research achievements. In addition to his academic roles, Ali has entrepreneurial experience as a founder and managing director of MobiSafe Systems Inc. He is actively involved in community service, having managed significant fundraising projects to support families impacted by various crises. Ali is committed to advancing education and his work reflects his dedication to the intersection of engineering and business management.
