David Swanson is an Assistant Professor in the Accounting Information Systems Division at the UBC Sauder School of Business. He holds a BSc in Business Administration and a BSc in Mathematics from Oregon, an MSBA from Rochester, and a PhD from Rochester. His research interests focus on the intersections of economics, regulation, and political economics, with a particular emphasis on SEC securities litigation. David is dedicated to teaching and mentoring students in various aspects of financial accounting.
