Yew-Thong Leong is an Associate Professor at the Department of Architectural Science at Toronto Metropolitan University. He obtained his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Pratt Institute in 1986. Leong specializes in architectural conservation and preservation, focusing on the integration of professional practice within urbanism. He has engaged in significant projects, including the reconstruction of the historic Frank Lloyd Wright's Banff National Park Pavilion, which was originally built in 1914. This project involves restoring the structure after it succumbed to flooding and frost damage over the years.
