Biography

Dr. Wang is an assistant professor specializing in Environmental Engineering at the University of Manitoba, having joined in December 2021. Previously, he was a postdoctoral scholar at the University of Toronto and the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station. His research focuses on micropollutant removal through chemical treatment, control of disinfection byproduct formation, water quality monitoring, and water chemistry. He is actively involved in the Early Career Boards for the journal Environmental Science & Technology and the American Society of Civil Engineers. His areas of expertise include advanced oxidation processes, water reuse, pollutant analysis, and environmental chemistry.
