Biography

Marie-Odile Benoit-Biancamano is a prominent researcher in the field of veterinary pathology. With extensive expertise in histopathology and entomopathology, she participates in numerous projects as a principal investigator or collaborator, primarily focusing on her specialization in pathology. Her work involves histopathological analyses based on regular (H&E or HPES), special, or immunohistochemical stains. She has achieved several academic credentials, including being a Diplomate of both the European College of Veterinary Pathologists and the American College of Veterinary Pathologists, and she holds a Master's degree and a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the Université de Montréal. Benoit-Biancamano has led and collaborated on significant research projects in veterinary diagnostics and pathology, contributing to advancements in understanding infectious diseases in animals. Her current research interests include the health implications of animal pathology in relation to food production and safety. Throughout her career, she has also supervised graduate students and has provided valuable mentorship in the veterinary sciences.
