Biography

Yukun Lu is an Assistant Professor in the field of Mechanical Mechatronics Engineering at the University of New Brunswick. He also serves as the Director of the Intelligent Mobility and Robotics Lab (IMRL). His research is primarily focused on autonomous systems, specifically autonomous platooning for mixed-terrain environments, and robotic mobility which includes tracked and wheeled corner modules. His interest extends to ground-air collaboration, involving advanced perception, mapping, and path planning techniques, as well as vehicle dynamics control. Dr. Lu's academic pursuits are characterized by a commitment to advancing the field of intelligent mobility through innovative research and development, contributing significantly to both theoretical understanding and practical applications in robotics and mechatronics. His work is reflected in various publications and collaborative projects within his research areas.
