Biography

Keir Moulton is an Associate Professor in the Department of Linguistics at the University of Toronto. He specializes in semantics and syntax, particularly in the interplay between these two fields, known as the syntax-semantics interface. His research also explores experimental linguistics, utilizing empirical methods to study various aspects of language structure and usage. Moulton has earned his PhD from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and has been a faculty member at the University of Toronto for several years. His work contributes to understanding how syntax and semantics interact, emphasizing the importance of empirical data in linguistic theory.
