Biography

Kexue Zhang is an Assistant Professor at Queen's University, holding the Verner Family Fellowship. Dr. Zhang's academic journey includes postdoctoral positions at the Pacific Institute for the Mathematical Sciences and the University of Calgary, culminating in a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Waterloo, specializing in Control Theory and Control Engineering, as well as a Ph.D. from Shandong University. His research interests focus primarily on systems control, particularly hybrid systems control theory and its applications. With a commitment to excellence in both research and teaching, Dr. Zhang aims to foster understanding and innovation in his field.
