Geoffrey Ng is an Assistant Professor at Robarts Research Institute, Western University, specializing in Medical Biophysics, Medical Imaging, and Surgery. His interdisciplinary research focuses on understanding the musculoskeletal system, with an emphasis on its structure and function, joint loading mechanics, and injury prevention. Ng's work aims to enhance the healthcare approach to musculoskeletal health, essential for the aging population. He utilizes a combination of in vivo imaging, computational models, and robotic testing to study joint mechanics and develop strategies for joint preservation and restoration.
