Biography

Daniel Côté is a full professor in the Department of Physics, Biomedical Engineering and Optics at Université Laval. He has made significant contributions in the fields of medical and biomedical engineering, optical instrumentation including detection and metrology, and biomedical instruments such as diagnostics. His research interests also extend to neurodegeneration, applied optics, image and video processing analysis, and image-guided surgery systems. Professor Côté has been recognized multiple times with the Faculty of Science and Engineering's Teaching Star award, highlighting his commitment to education and enhancing the academic experience for his students.
