Holly Etchegary is an Associate Professor in Clinical Epidemiology at Memorial University of Newfoundland. She completed her PhD in Social/Health Psychology at Memorial University in 2005 and subsequently held a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Ottawa and the National Institute of Population Health. Her interdisciplinary scholarly activity includes a focus on Genetics, Ethical, Environmental, Economic, Legal, and Social Issues (GE3LS), particularly regarding patient engagement in genomics and health research. She teaches courses on clinical research design and analysis, and has substantial involvement in graduate seminars and curriculum development for both undergraduate and postgraduate medical education. Holly is committed to supervising graduate students at the master's and doctoral levels and is actively involved in several large research grants, contributing her expertise in patient-oriented research.
