Yang Chen is an Assistant Professor in the area of Operations Management at Ivey Business School. His research focuses on Behavioral Operations Management, Artificial Intelligence, and Marketing. Utilizing empirical experimental methods, Yang investigates human interactions with AI in the context of operational purchasing decisions. He earned his PhD in Management Analytics from the Smith School of Business at Queen's University. Before joining academia, Yang worked in statistical consulting roles for healthcare organizations in Toronto, applying his analytical skills to improve decision-making processes in business research.
