June Cotte is a Professor of Marketing at the Ivey Business School, University of Western Ontario. Her academic career includes serving as President of the Association for Consumer Research and as Co-Editor for the Journal of Consumer Research. Cotte co-founded the ‘Designing Career Marketing Academy’ initiative, aimed at nurturing young female marketing scholars. Her research interests are centered on behavioral issues related to consumer ethics, the perception of time's influence on behavior, family impacts on consumption, and gambling behaviors. She currently serves on the Editorial Review Boards of several prestigious journals including the Journal of Consumer Research and the Journal of Consumer Psychology. Throughout her career, Cotte’s work has been published in leading journals and academic outlets. She has held visiting professorships at institutions like St. Andrews University in Scotland and Monash University in Australia. June regularly presents her research at business schools globally and has taught various marketing courses, including Marketing Strategy and Consumer Behavior.
