Biography

Chuck Grace is a Professor Emeritus at the Ivey Business School, University of Western Ontario, specializing in Finance. He has taught courses on institutional investing, personal wealth management, and Fintech. Chuck served as the Program Director for Western's Financial Wellness Lab and the Ivey Academy's Investment Professional Leadership Program, focusing on the impact of emerging technologies on financial advice. He is a recipient of the 2019 David G Burgoyne Teaching Award and has held various leadership roles, including HBA faculty director of the Ivey Field Project and Associate Director of the Scotiabank Digital Banking Lab. Chuck has extensive experience in the wealth management industry, having progressed to senior management positions in Canada’s largest insurance and wealth management companies, and was COO of Quadrus Investment Services, overseeing its growth as one of the largest mutual fund dealers in Canada. He has authored 50 case studies for Ivey Publishing and regularly presents at industry events and writes industry publications. In retirement, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, likely at his swimming pool.
