Biography

Ken Hardy is Professor Emeritus of Marketing at the Ivey Business School, University of Western Ontario, where he has significantly influenced the academic landscape since joining the faculty in 1968. He holds an M.B.A. and a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan. Hardy has served in various prestigious roles, including Director of the HBA Program from 1988 to 1992 and Associate Dean of Research and Faculty Development from 1993 to 1999. He directed the entrepreneurship institute and has made substantial contributions to marketing education. His academic journey includes visiting professorships at renowned institutions such as INSEAD in France and NEMI in Norway. Hardy's extensive experience in both academia and the business sector, particularly with Procter & Gamble and the construction industry, enhances his insights into marketing strategies. His research interests include the practical application of marketing principles in the corporate sector, the dynamics of consumer behavior, and innovative marketing strategies that cater to the evolving market needs.
