Dr. Vanessa Hasse is an Assistant Professor at the Ivey Business School specializing in International Business. Her primary research interests focus on organizational responses to performance signals during outlier events within international contexts, particularly rare impactful occurrences. Dr. Hasse's work has been published in prestigious journals such as the Academy of Management Journal, Global Strategy Journal, and Business & Society, receiving international recognition including the 2023 IM Division Paper Award. She co-authored the 9th edition of the widely used textbook 'International Management Behavior.' Known for her award-winning case studies, Dr. Hasse is recognized as an innovative management educator, creating transformative learning experiences. She has received multiple Teaching Excellence Awards consistently since 2021 and was a finalist for the Academy of International Business Teaching Innovation Award.
