Biography

Jérôme Leclerc-Loiselle is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at the University of Sherbrooke. He holds a Ph.D. from the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Montreal and a Master's degree in Nursing from the same institution. His research interests include Palliative Care, Medical Assistance in Dying, Nursing Practice, and Home-based Care. Jérôme is actively engaged in various research projects aimed at enhancing end-of-life care and evaluating innovative care models. He teaches courses related to nursing practice in palliative care at the University of Sherbrooke and has contributed to significant research funding initiatives, focusing on the understanding of medical assistance in dying and the impact of nursing interventions in the context of palliative care. His recent publications delve into the implications of autogenic training on quality of life and symptoms in patients with HIV, showcasing his commitment to advancing knowledge in nursing and health sciences.
