Biography

Martha Maznevski is a Professor of Organizational Behaviour at Ivey Business School, where she also serves as the Faculty Director of Executive Education. Her research expertise includes global teams, global leadership, cultural identity, and empowering individual differences. She has published extensively in the fields of academic management and is known for her popular textbook 'International Management Behavior', now in its 7th edition, co-authored with H. Lane and J. DiStefano. Her research has appeared in leading journals such as the Journal of International Business Studies and the Strategic Management Journal. Currently, she is working on unlocking the performance dynamics of lateral teams that coordinate complex organizational structures, such as multi-unit organizations and matrixed groups. Prior to her role at Ivey, she was a professor at IMD in Switzerland for fifteen years, where she developed and directed executive education programs for senior leaders worldwide. She has also worked as a consultant for various public and private organizations, assisting in managing global human resources in North America, Europe, Latin America, and Asia.
