Dr. Jorge E. Scarpin is an Associate Professor of Accounting and Chair of the Offutt School of Business at Concordia College. He holds a Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of São Paulo and has a robust background in financial accounting and accounting education. Dr. Scarpin's teaching philosophy emphasizes the importance of interaction between scholars and students, aiming to build knowledge collaboratively through well-prepared lectures and hands-on activities. He integrates real-world examples and ethical dilemmas into his curriculum, which includes Managerial, Cost, Intermediate, and International Accounting courses.
