John Peloza is a Lecturer in Finance at Ivey Business School. He holds an Ontario Realtor® license obtained in April 2021 and is a Chartered Financial Analyst® since 2018. After graduating from Ivey, John began his career in market research consulting roles in the real estate sector, particularly as a Financial Analyst at Royal LePage Canada since 2017. His role involved supporting consulting engagements for Brookfield Asset Management and included a secondment to the digital brokerage start-up Wahi in Toronto in November 2021. At Royal LePage, John was part of the Business Development team, focusing on growth initiatives, startup franchising opportunities, targeted agent recruitment, brokerage acquisitions, ancillary revenue development, and succession planning. His primary market interests encompass diverse neighborhoods including Toronto Harbourfront, Liberty Village, and Queen West, alongside his hometown London, Ontario, and the Leamington-Kingsville region of Essex County. John is passionate about real estate and wealth management, and he enjoys helping clients achieve their investing goals through education and expertise.
