Hubert Pun is a Professor of Management Science at Ivey Business School, University of Western Ontario, where he holds the J. Allyn Taylor/Arthur H. Mingay Chair. His research interests focus on co-opetition, counterfeit products, and blockchain enterprise solutions. He has published in leading journals such as Manufacturing & Service Operations Management and Journal of Operations Management. Additionally, Hubert serves as a Senior Editor for Production Operations Management and an Associate Editor for Transportation Research Part E. He received the Western Faculty Scholar Award in 2022 for his groundbreaking research in blockchain applications in business, and he has consistently been recognized for his teaching excellence. Hubert completed his PhD in Operations Management and Decision Sciences at Kelley School of Business, Indiana University, in 2010, and he joined Ivey shortly thereafter. He has industry experience from his work with a Venezuelan start-up, where he was part of the team that expanded operations across North and Central America. His teaching and research have earned him numerous accolades, including the Ivey Dean’s Teaching Commendation Letters and Research Merit Award.
