Biography

The Süssmuth group at Technische Universität Berlin employs 30 scientists and focuses on the search for and characterization of unknown natural products. Engaged in research involving antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral activities, our team works on chemical synthesis and elucidating biosynthesis mechanisms of action. Through these research endeavors, we aim to pave the way for developing new drugs targeting cancer and infection therapies.
