Biography

Laurent Fradet is a specialist in otolaryngology with extensive training in head and neck surgery. He received his M.D. from the University of Sherbrooke and has completed fellowships in head and neck surgery microvascular reconstruction at the University of Alberta and Chris O’Brien Lifehouse in Australia. Dr. Fradet is currently an assistant professor at the University of Sherbrooke, where he also practices as an otorhinolaryngologist and facial surgeon. His research focuses on the advancements in biomarkers for thyroid cancer, aiming to improve diagnostic and treatment outcomes in oncology. With affiliations in various professional organizations, he actively engages in surgical oncology and contributes to the field through clinical practice and research. Dr. Fradet has a solid foundation in surgery, bolstered by his qualifications from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and several recognitions in his area of expertise.
