Biography

Maria Ntekoume is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Concordia University. She completed her Ph.D. at the University of California, Los Angeles in 2020 and holds a B.Sc. from the University of Crete, obtained in 2014. Her research focuses on Nonlinear Dispersive Partial Differential Equations (PDEs) and Integrable Systems, exploring their properties and applications in various scientific fields. Maria has supervised graduate students in both Master's and Ph.D. programs in Mathematics and Statistics, guiding them through their thesis work and providing mentorship in their academic pursuits. Her work is characterized by a commitment to advancing the understanding of complex mathematical systems and contributing to the academic community through teaching and research.
