Biography

Colin Yeung is an Assistant Professor in the College of Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan, specializing in cardiology. He completed several fellowships, including in Preventive Cardiology at the Mayo Clinic and in Cardiac Rehabilitation at Dalhousie University. Additionally, he has undergone residencies in Adult Cardiology and Internal Medicine at Dalhousie University. His educational background includes an M.P.H. from the University of Saskatchewan and an M.D. and B.Sc.(Med.) from the University of Manitoba. Yeung has been recognized with numerous awards such as the American Society for Preventive Cardiology Young Investigator Award and the World Heart Federation's Global Heart Journal Paper distinction. He serves as the Medical Director of the Heart Function Clinic, Lipid Clinic, and Cardiac Rehabilitation Programs in Regina. Yeung has been actively involved in leadership roles within cardiovascular organizations, including the Canadian Association for Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation, and has contributed significantly to the field through research and education.
