Biography

Alberte Rørbæk Kokholm Sørensen is a Research Assistant at Aalborg University, focusing on sustainability and innovation policy. Her research interests span strategic sustainability in companies, particularly the impacts of sustainability reporting practices on corporate sustainability performance. She is actively engaged in exploring the implications of new regulatory frameworks such as the Corporate Sustainability Directive (CSRD), EU Taxonomy, and the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR). Furthermore, Alberte is involved in the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) within Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs), contributing to projects centered around education in sustainable development. She has been part of multiple projects aimed at enhancing teaching practices related to sustainability, with a focus on environmental education and the broader objectives of the SDGs.
