Britta Vinkler Frederiksen is a Part-time Lecturer in Music Therapy at Aalborg University. Her research interests span various aspects of music therapy, including its applications and effectiveness for patients with dual diagnoses. She is actively involved in the CEDOMUS project, which focuses on documentation and research in music therapy. Furthermore, Frederiksen has contributed to a range of publications from 1999 to 2022, demonstrating her sustained engagement in academic discourse regarding the therapeutic use of music. She has also been featured in media discussions about enhancing the integration of music in psychiatric care. Frederiksen holds a PhD and continues to influence the field through both teaching and research activities.
