Biography

Hossein Zolfagharinia is an award-winning Associate Professor in Operations Management at the Ted Rogers School of Management, Toronto Metropolitan University. He holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Industrial Engineering and a Ph.D. in Operations and Supply Chain Management from the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University. With years of professional experience as a business methods analyst, Zolfagharinia has worked in diverse industries such as logistics, transportation, and healthcare. He has co-edited a book and authored numerous articles in top-tier refereed journals, including European Journal of Operational Research and Computers & Operations Research. His research interests include Supply Chain Management, Sustainable Operations Management, and Collaborative Transportation. He has presented his work at various national and international conferences. Zolfagharinia has received multiple prestigious awards, including the Dean's Scholarly, Research, and Creative Activity Award and TRSM Research Recognition Awards.
