Jean-Bernard Denault is a Full Professor at the University of Sherbrooke in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. His research focuses on apoptosis, specifically the roles and mechanisms of caspases in cellular processes. He has significantly contributed to understanding protein interactions and enzyme mechanisms, with applications in cancer research. Denault has led multiple research projects funded by Canadian institutions, exploring the proteolytic system of caspases and their role in colorectal cancer.
