Sharareh Taghipour is an Associate Professor at Toronto Metropolitan University specializing in Mechanical, Industrial, and Mechatronics Engineering. As a Canada Research Chair Tier 2 in Physical Asset Management, she leads the RRMR Lab, focusing on mathematical modeling and optimization techniques aimed at improving operational efficiencies in various domains, including healthcare and manufacturing. She holds a PhD from the University of Toronto, as well as a Master's degree and Bachelor's degree from Sharif University of Technology. Her research interests include operations research, industrial engineering, stochastic modeling, reliability engineering, and the application of data-driven predictive and prescriptive modeling.
