Biography

Dr. Nick Peti is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Saskatchewan, specializing in Vascular Surgery. He obtained his degree in Organic Chemistry from the University of Regina before advancing his medical education at the University of Saskatchewan, where he completed his medical degree and residency in General Surgery, achieving his FRCSC designation in 2013. Following this, Dr. Peti underwent a clinical fellowship in Vascular Endovascular surgery in Calgary, which is recognized as one of North America's leading centers for endovascular aortic procedures. He is dedicated to developing the new thoracic endovascular program at St. Paul's Hospital in Saskatoon, focusing on thoracic aortic diseases. His research interests include carotid disease, risk factor modification, healthcare policy, and medical education.
