Biography

Theresa Ulicki focuses her research and teaching interests on gender development, particularly in areas such as gender equity organizations, gender-based violence, and labor migration. She has conducted field research in Lesotho and South Africa. In addition to her academic work, she has volunteered as a consultant for organizations like WUSC and the Southern African Migration Project (SAMP) with Irish Aid in Lesotho. Her recent publications include significant contributions to the discourse on gender equity and labor migration, including works in journals such as Policing Society and Transformation, as well as edited volumes on migration and development.
