Laura Van Staalduinen is an Assistant Professor in the Bachelor of Health Sciences program at Queen's University. She obtained her PhD in Biochemistry from Queen’s University in 2013. With a strong focus on undergraduate education, she has significant experience teaching upper-year biochemistry courses and has provided guest lectures to first-year pre-health science students at Loyalist College. Her teaching approaches often involve the development of structural biology demonstrations tailored for both undergraduate and graduate students. Currently, she teaches the Introduction to Biochemistry course, BCHM 270, within the nursing program, emphasizing the biochemical basis of health and disease.
