Biography

Dr. Chelcie Soroka is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Dalhousie University, where she focuses on Child and Adolescent Mental Health and Eating Disorders. She completed her MD at Dalhousie University followed by a Psychiatry Residency and a Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Subspecialty Residency at the University of Toronto. Dr. Soroka serves as the Undergraduate Education Coordinator for the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Dalhousie. Her research interests include treatments for children and adolescents with eating disorders and continuous quality improvement in child and adolescent psychiatric consultations. She actively publishes and contributes to academic discussions in these areas, reflecting her commitment to enhancing the understanding and treatment of mental health issues in younger populations.
