Scott Kline is an Associate Professor at St. Jerome's University, University of Waterloo, focusing his research on the relationship between religious ethics and public policy, particularly in Canada and the United States. He is the author of "Ethical Catholic Guide to Contemporary Issues" published by Novalis in 2013, and has written extensively on topics including culture wars, religion and foreign policy, ethics in peacemaking, and homelessness. Kline's current research investigates the role of faith-based organizations in addressing homelessness, as well as community responses to sudden cardiac arrest. He teaches undergraduate courses covering Christian ethics, sexual ethics, and contemporary ethical issues. Kline's doctoral students have explored subjects such as evangelical political activism in Canada, Canadian secularism, and Indigenous land claims. In his free time, he enjoys road cycling, running, and traveling.
