Murali (Mal) Rajaraman is an Associate Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Dalhousie University. He received his Bachelor of Science, Doctor of Medicine, and Fellowship from Dalhousie University and Princess Margaret Hospital, respectively. His research focuses on Neosis, Clinical Research Databases, Thyroid Cancer, and the utilization of PET/CT Scans in oncology clinical trials. Dr. Rajaraman is also dedicated to undergraduate and postgraduate medical education, particularly in raising awareness about thyroid cancer among patients and healthcare professionals. He has received significant awards for his contributions to cancer care and education, including the Cancer Care Nova Scotia Innovation Excellence Award for his work with Head & Neck Cancer and the Excellence Patient Care Award for the Interdisciplinary Thyroid Oncology Clinic.
