Jeremy Mastrangelo grew up in a musical household with a piano-playing father and an older brother who became a professional violinist. He started taking private violin lessons at a young age and later studied at the Interlochen Arts Academy, Cleveland Institute of Music, and University of Michigan. He had a season with the Miami New World Symphony and was appointed Associate Concertmaster of his hometown Syracuse Symphony Orchestra, where he performed for ten seasons. In 2014, he became a full-time member of the National Arts Centre Orchestra in Ottawa, where he currently resides. Throughout his career, Jeremy has performed in a wide range of concert settings including orchestral, chamber, and solo performances. He has guest performed as a principal in various orchestras across North America and also teaches violin lessons and orchestral repertoire classes at universities in Syracuse and Ottawa.
