Amanda Roxburgh is employed as a Senior Research Officer with the National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre (NDARC). With 10 years of experience in drug and alcohol research, she specializes in analyzing large population-level survey data. Currently, she coordinates the National Illicit Drug Indicators Project, which monitors trends in alcohol and other drug-related harms. Previously, she served as the NSW coordinator on the Illicit Drug Reporting System (IDRS). Amanda's academic background includes a Masters in Criminology and she is also a Clinical Psychologist. Her research interests focus on comorbid mental health and drug use problems among marginalized populations, including people who inject drugs and street-based sex workers, as well as the monitoring of illicit drug-related harms in Australia.
