Biography

Amin Ahmadi Digehsara is an Assistant Professor at the University of British Columbia Okanagan specializing in Industrial Engineering. He completed his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering at Sabanci University in Turkey. His research interests include Network Optimization, Public Transportation Planning, Optimization Uncertainty, and Operational Research Methodologies. Amin is actively involved in projects that apply operational research techniques to solve real-world problems, particularly in transportation and logistics. His background also includes a Master's degree from Isfahan University of Technology in Iran and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Tabriz. With a keen interest in enhancing public transport systems through improved optimization techniques, he aims to contribute to sustainable development within urban environments. Beyond academia, Amin engages in various collaborative research projects and has published papers in relevant fields, focusing on practical applications of engineering concepts. He also contributes to teaching and mentoring students, encouraging them to explore innovative solutions to complex challenges in management and engineering.
