Yibin Liu earned his Ph.D. from the University of California, San Diego, in 2021. His research centers on generative AI and its effects on the financial market. He also conducts theory-motivated empirical research on banking and disclosure using machine learning techniques and natural experiments. He is dedicated to teaching students how to apply generative AI and machine learning in accounting data analytics.
