Eduardo Franco is a professor in the Gerald Bronfman Department of Oncology at McGill University, where he holds the Minda de Gunzburg Chair in Oncology and is a James McGill Professor. His academic focus spans oncology, epidemiology, biostatistics, and occupational health. Franco's research primarily investigates cancer epidemiology, emphasizing cervical cancer, upper aero-digestive tract cancers, and childhood tumors. His work extensively assesses cancer prevention strategies, particularly in screening methodologies aimed at early detection and intervention. He earned his Doctor of Public Health and Master of Public Health from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Universidade Estadual de Campinas in Brazil.
