Dr. Arnaud Chiolero

Biography

Arnaud Chiolero is a full professor of population health at the University of Fribourg and an adjunct professor at the School of Global and Population Health of McGill University. He is a board-certified public health physician and has extensive training in epidemiology. He initially trained as a medical doctor at the University of Lausanne in Switzerland and furthered his studies in epidemiology at Erasmus University Rotterdam in the Netherlands and subsequently obtained his PhD in Montreal, Canada. His research specializes in life course epidemiology, chronic diseases, cancer, and public health surveillance monitoring. As the director of the Population Health Laboratory at the University of Fribourg and as an academic co-director of the Swiss School of Public Health, he is recognized for his contributions to public health and epidemiological research.
