Kristin Voigt is an Associate Professor in the Department of Equity, Ethics Policy at McGill University. She holds a DPhil in political philosophy from the University of Oxford and has completed post-doctoral positions at McGill University, Harvard University, Lancaster University, and the European College of Liberal Arts. Her research primarily focuses on biomedical ethics, social policy, health inequalities, population health, and the social determinants of health. Voigt explores egalitarian theories, distributive justice, and the connections between philosophy and social policy. Her ongoing projects involve addressing issues related to health inequality and utilizing incentives to improve health outcomes, including childhood obesity and smoking tobacco control. Furthermore, she engages in research concerning higher education policy. Voigt is committed to advancing understanding in these areas and contributing to discussions on health-related ethical dilemmas.
