Annie St-Georges obtained her dental medicine degree from the University of Montreal in 1997, followed by a certificate in operative dentistry and a master's degree in sciences from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2001. She returned to the University of Montreal's Faculty of Dentistry in 2001, where she served as an assistant professor from 2001 to 2006, an associate professor from 2006 to 2012, and has been a full professor since 2012. Throughout her career, she has held several positions including clinical service head in operative dentistry from 2004 to 2012, assistant to admissions and studies from 2010 to 2012, and vice-dean for undergraduate studies and student affairs from 2012 to 2016. In addition to her academic roles, she practices as a dentist at the Faculty of Dentistry's Professors' Clinic.
