Dr. Christina Signorelli

Assistant Professor

Biography

I am a Senior Research Fellow in the Discipline of Paediatrics at UNSW Sydney's School of Clinical Medicine. My academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Medicine (Paediatrics) from UNSW Sydney, a Master's in Qualitative Health Research from the University of Sydney, and a combined Bachelor's degree in Science (Psychology) and Arts (Sociology) from the University of Sydney. My research interests primarily focus on understanding the physical and psychosocial impacts of being diagnosed with serious or chronic illnesses during childhood and adolescence, including cancer. I aim to develop evidence-based resources and interventions to alleviate the potentially lifelong burdens these diagnoses can impose on patients and their families.
