Andrea Down is an Assistant Professor in the Accounting Department of Management at the University of Toronto Scarborough, cross-appointed in the Accounting area at the Rotman School of Management. Her research examines the provision, acquisition, and utilization of private information disclosure, debt contracting, and auditing settings. She is also interested in the role of technology in capital markets. Prior to pursuing a career in academia, Andrea worked as a Senior Accountant at KPMG LLP and earned her CPA, CA designation.
