Biography

Katherine is a clinical optometrist and education-focused lecturer at the School of Optometry and Vision Science. She graduated with a Bachelor of Optometry (Hons) and Bachelor of Science degree from the University of New South Wales (UNSW Sydney) in 2012. Following her graduation, she has practiced in full scope private practice in Sydney, served as a locum optometrist in rural Northern Territory, and worked as a Resident Optometrist at the UNSW Optometry Clinic. In her previous role as Senior Research Optometrist for the Eye Research Group, she coordinated and conducted industry-sponsored clinical trials. Katherine completed her Masters of Optometry at UNSW Sydney in 2018 and has a special interest in dry eye, anterior eye, and color vision perception. She currently supervises clinical practices in primary care, color vision, and dry eye clinics at the UNSW Optometry Clinic.
