Firoozeh Babayekhorasani is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Chemical Engineering at UNSW Sydney. She has a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Houston, USA, where her research focused on the diffusive and transport properties of nanoparticles in confined micro porous media, highlighting implications for drug delivery. Prior to joining UNSW, she worked as a researcher in bio-image analysis and microscopy at the Centre for Dynamic Imaging, Walter and Eliza Hall Institute in Melbourne. Her expertise encompasses confocal microscopy and multiple particle tracking techniques to visualize and analyze nanoparticle trajectories, addressing complex dynamics in non-Newtonian fluids. Firoozeh holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, further reinforcing her background in the field. Her work integrates advanced imaging systems with material science to explore novel applications in engineering and therapeutics.
